My time was up.
It was almost a year and a half since I ended my career and promised myself time off to regroup in order to figure out the next steps in my life.
And I still had no idea what I was going to do.
Onward and upward, I suppose, but I still felt scattered.
I was doing all these amazing monthly adventures – and yet – there was no cohesive rhyme or reason to any of it.
What was I going to do?
During one of my weekly meetings with group of friends, I broke down crying. I just felt so confused and feeling lost. I couldn’t help but break down into tears. Never before had I felt ever felt so alone as I did in that one particular moment.
I was confused, unfocussed, and feeling as lost as I could have ever felt in the entire world.
My life was changing so quickly, so dramatically, and I didn’t know if I was coming or going. The only thing I knew for certain was that I didn’t want to go back to my old life – especially when my monthly adventures excited me to no end.
But my luck was about to change – one of the women in my group was a Life Coach – and Michelle was willing to work with me to help me achieve my dreams through her 12 week Energy Rich Beings Life Coaching program.
What is a Life Coach?
A life coach is someone who mentors you with your personal growth and life goals based on your deepest values and guiding principles.
In essence, they help you to identify, achieve and live the life of your dreams – all the while focussing on your needs. And it’s about bridging the gap between where you are today and where you’d like to end up.
How could a Life Coach help you?
- You are enabled to make decisions that will improve your life.
- They motivate you to a new level of life satisfaction.
- They identify conflicts, issues, and false beliefs – and help you to take back control.
- They empower you to overcome any obstacles in your life – like stress, anxiety, fear.
- They help you to believe in yourself, allowing yourself to be human, opening yourself up to new experiences.
As a result of the 12 week Life Coaching program called Energy Rich Beings, I formulated a plan of action that enabled me to develop my monthly adventures into a business. I am still on an uncertain path, not exactly sure where this is all going – but without question, I no longer have any lingering doubts that I am right path.
Life Coaching showed me that there is another way of being. Now, it’s entirely up to me to do what I need to do to make my dreams come true. Good thing I’m a long term planner.
